OUR STORY · HALF MOON BAY, CALIFORNIA
Casa De Highland Co. began with a love for baking, animals, and bringing people together, and a dream of creating something meaningful of my own with my husband by my side.
I am a lifelong member of the Half Moon Bay community, a place that has always been an important part of my story. My husband and I families carry deep indigenous and Mexican roots, with that comes a strong appreciation for family, animals, nature, and creativity.
I have always had a creative spirit, a love for baking, and a dream of building something of my own. My husband Eduardo has spent years caring for animals and helping create memorable experiences at events throughout the Bay. With his support and experience, bringing those two worlds together felt natural.
I knew that if I ever created something of my own, I wanted it to feel personal, welcoming, and true to the things I love, and with my hubby beside me helping bring that vision to life.
Gibby is our gentle mini Scottish Highland and the heart of every Casa experience. He brings a calm, playful presence to celebrations, greeting guests, posing for photographs, enjoying treats, and creating the kind of moments families remember long after the event ends.
“Casa” means home, and that is exactly how I want every experience to feel: warm, welcoming, personal, and filled with heart.
My culture has taught me that some of the best memories are made when families gather, food is shared, pictures are taken, and everyone feels included. Casa brings a little of that feeling wherever we go.
What We Bring
At the center of Casa De Highland is our gentle Highland experience, accompanied by the thoughtful details that make every event feel special.
From my bakery creations to Polaroid keepsakes guests can take home, each part of the experience represents something personal to me and the Casa I am building.
Whatever the celebration, my goal is simple: create genuine moments of happiness while always putting the comfort and care of our animals first.
